This time, the Horror Movie Syllabus examines the post-Scream 1990s trend of self-referential teen horror! Scream was a massively important movie, and these movies that followed sustained that injection of life that Scream gave the horror genre. Professor Victor discusses three exemplary examples of Scream “knock-off” films (plus three “extra credit” movies) and evaluates their merits.
